Dave reveals more on Ross Noble's motorbike series

All Torque to follow the Scottish Six Days Trial

The Dave series charting  Ross Noble’s motorcycling adventures at the gruelling  Scottish Six Days Trial is to be called Ross Noble: All Torque.

The broadcaster today confirmed the series would comprise three hour-long episodes and air later this year.

Earlier this week, as the trials set off in Fort William, Chortle reported how the comic was being filmed.

Noble is currently in 263rd place – out of 266 – in the event, with another nine having dropped our. He is 43rd out of 46 newcomers.

The comedian said: ‘ This is one of the most technically difficult motorcycle challenges in the world - you have to ride for eight hours a day for six days on a bike with no seat. But as I do stand-up as a job I'm hoping that will help!

Iain Coyle, UKTV’s senior commissioning editor, said: ‘We’re absolutely delighted to work with Ross again. He's a fantastic bloke, a unique talent and, it turns out, pretty hardcore on two wheels.’

Noble previously made two series of his Freewheeling show for Dave, when he went around the country on his motorbike, with his route determined by the suggestions of his 500,000 twitter followers.

He previously said his biggest fear during the trials was that he might break his leg – jeopardising rehearsals for his new role as Igor in the Young Frankenstein musical.
