Comedy gig at 3,500ft

Fifty comedy fans climbed to the 3,553ft summit of Schiehallion in  in Perth and Kinross for what’s billed at Britain’s highest comedy gig.

The audience braved 60mph winds to watch Scottish comedians Gary Little, Chris Forbes and Alan Anderson perform at temperatures as low as 5C.

As part of the show, Forbes led the audience to sing Coming Round The Mountain, which is also a Scottish football song.

At 1,083m the peak is 109m higher than last year’s record breaking comedy performance at the top of Ben Lomond, and took the hillwalkers  two-and-a-half hours to ascend.

The event raised almost £1,000 for Glasgow’s Children’s Hospital Charity, and you can donate more here.
