YouTubers announce new tour

YouTubers Joe Sugg and Caspar Lee have announced a UK tour to coincide with the launch of their second DVD.

The pair used a live stream to announce the seven dates from Los Angeles last night.

Their tour, Joe & Caspar Hit The Road USA, launches in Sheffield on October 23, a month before the release of the travelogue movie of the same name.

The film charts a 2,000-mile trip in which the pair compete against each other in various challenges, meeting the likes of American footballers, ranch hands, astronauts and muscle men along the way.

On stage, they will talk about their adventures while introducing the footage and out-takes.

Sugg – the younger brother of fellow YouTube star Zoella – said: 'I'm so excited to be doing this all again… I've felt many emotions on this trip – you'll have to watch to find out why.'

Joe, 24, and Casper, 22, have more than 11 million YouTube subscribers and over a billion video views between them.

Tickets for the tour, which also takes in Liverpool, Wolverhampton, Manchester, Newcastle, Glasgow and the Hammersmith Eventim Apollo, went on sale at 9am. And the pair also offer 'meet and greet' packages – for fans prepared to ay more than £80 a ticket. Click here for the full schedule and box office links.

And Joe & Caspar Hit the Road USA – made by the production team behind Top Gear's special commissions – will be released in the UK on November 21. Click to pre-order.

Their first film, Joe & Caspar Hit The Road, was released last year and was the fifth bestselling comedy DVD at Christmas.

Their tour also includes four dates in Australia and one in New Zealand.

And here is a teaser trailer for the movie.
