Joe Thomas and James Buckley co-star in new sitcom

Inbetweeners duo Joe Thomas and James Buckley are to reunite for  a new sitcom.

The pair will star together in a comedy written by Damon Beesley, who co-created the E4 show that shot them to fame.

Details of the show are still under wraps, but Buckley revealed: ‘It’s going to be set in Essex in the Eighties.’

Speaking on The Sun’s football podcast The Dream Team, the actor said the show would be filmed towards the end of the year.

Earlier this week it was announced that Buckley would star in a new fantasy comedy for the Dave channel called Zapped, in which he plays an online data marketing assistant who finds himself abruptly transported to a parallel world. Steve Coogan makes a guest appearance in the showm which is made by his production company Baby Cow.
