Izzard vs Farage

Comedian joins Question Time panel

Eddie Izzard is to come face-to-face with Nigel Farage on tomorrow’s Question Time. The pro-European comedian is a late addition to BBC One’s flagship political debate show, which this week comes from Folkestone. Host David Dimbleby last week announced that Ukip leader Farage would be on the panel along with Tory MP Chris Grayling, a fellow Brexiter, Labour MP Hilary Benn,a Remain campaigner, and Daily Telegraph columnist Allison Pearson. Izzard is currently touring the country trying to persuade voters to keep Britain in the European Union in the June 23 referendum. He often performs three stand-up shows in three languages each evening on the campaign trail. Question Time airs on BBC One at 10.45pm.
