Second London date for Louis CK

'Overwhelming demand'

Louis CK has announced a second London date this summer

The comic will be appearing at the SSE Arena Wembley on Saturday August 13 as well as Friday August 12, following 'overwhelming public demand' for the first date.

He will also be playing and at the 3 Arena in Dublin on August 15.

In an email to fans announcing the first date on Monday, he said: ‘I think I’m better at comedy right now than I’ve been for a while and I’m going to dedicate the year to just doing great live shows. I’m very ready and excited to come to your town.’

CK recently told Howard Stern that he was ‘millions of dollars in debt’ after funding the offbeat sitcom Horace and Pete, which he released as a series of paid-for downloads.

As well as his stand-up career, CK has been stretching his acting muscles, recently appeared in Trumbo alongside Bryan Cranston and will next be heard as the voice of Max in the animated film The Secret Life of Pets, set for release later this year

CK last performed in London in 2013, when he played the Hammersmith Apollo and O2 Arena. Review
