COMEDIAN Liam Williams has adapted Shakespeare's Twelfth Night for a one-off charity performance featuring a cast of fellow comics, including Tim Key, David Elms, Kieran Hodgson, Ellie White, Emma Sidi and sketch performers from Beard, Sheeps and The Pin. The updated play will be performed at Kings Cross Theatre in London on the actual 12th night, January 5, in aid of or Refugee Action.

AUSTRALIAN comic and Daily Show correspondent Ronny Chieng is filming a comedy pilot. The autobiographical Ronny Chieng: International Student is about him moving from Malaysia to Melbourne to follow his mother's wishes of him becoming a top lawyer – but then finding it hard to fit in at university. It will air on Australia's ABC next year.

COMEDIANS including Jimmy Carr, Vic Reeves, Dom Joly and James Corden are to take part in a new Channel 4 show about old-school technology. That's So Last Century will involve celebrities, and some of their children, looking back at the pop culture of the late 20th Century. Independent production house Objective are making the three-part series for broadcast next month.

YOUTUBE comedian Miranda Sings has recorded her first stand-up special, to be released via rival video service Vimeo. The alter ego of comedian Colleen Evans has recorded the deliberately misspelled Selp Helf special in Seattle for release on December 14, priced $9.99. The misguided wannabe character – who made her Edinburgh Fringe debut last year – has 5.4 million subscribers on YouTube.

CHRIS RAMSEY will be signing copies of his new stand-up DVD, All Growed Up, at the HMV store in Newcastle on December 4, from 6pm.
