Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon's The Trip to Italy was named best comedy at this year's South Bank Sky Arts Awards, last night. Stand-up Sara Pascoe had been nominated for the breakthrough award, but was beaten to it by The Musketeers star Luke Pasqualino. The ceremony, hosted by Stephen Fry, will be broadcast on Sky Arts at 8pm on Wednesday.

JOHN SHUTTLEWORTH creator Graham Fellows is to revive his Jilted John alter-ego for only the second time in 37 years. He had a No 4 in 1978 with the self-titled song with its 'Gordon is a moron' refrain but has long retired the character, breaking it out only once before, for the 2008 Big Chill festival. Now he'll be back for the John Shuttleworth and Friends gig at the London Palladium on June 28. Here's Jilted John on Top Of The Pops (with Jimmy Savile):

SAJEEV KOHLI, best known for playing shopkeeper Navid in Still Game, is to join BBC Scotland drama River City in the autumn, as a new character called Amandeep 'AJ' Jandhu, 'a local lad made good' who returns to Shieldinch to start a business venture.

SANDI TOKSVIG is to present another 100 episodes of Channel 4 quiz show Fifteen To One, after it was recommissioned for three series. Commissioning editor Ed de Burgh, said 'Sandi is undoubtedly one of Britain's toughest quiz mistresses.'

UNBREAKABLE Kimmy Schmidt, The Big Bang Theory, Transparent, Inside Amy Schumer and Jane the Virgin have been nominated for outstanding comedy at America's Television Critics Association Awards. Shortlisted for individual achievement in comedy are Julia Louis-Dreyfus for Veep, Gina Rodriguez for Jane The Virgin, Amy Schumer for Inside Amy Schumer, Jeffrey Tambor for Transparent and Constance Wu for Fresh Off the Boat. Winners are announced on August 8.
