PHOENIX Night Live raised £5,031,146.47 for Comic Relief it has been confirmed. Producers say the revenue, from 196,000 ticket sales at the Manchester Arena, is the most money raised by a live comedy show in the world. Kay and the cast gave their time for free

THE SECOND series of Inside No 9 will launch on BBC Two on March 26, the corporation has announced. And Dara and Ed’s Great Big Adventure, in which Messrs O Briain and Byrne travel down the Pan-American Highway starts on March 24 on the same channel.

LOUIS CK’s sitcom Louie will return to UK screens on April 16. Episodes will air on the Fox channel one week after their premieres on FX in the US.

AMERICA’s CBS network has renewed two of its Chuck Lorre-created sitcoms: Mom for a third series and Mike & Molly for a sixth.
