Shows in Oxford and London

Ricky Gervais has announced two more dates performing as David Brent.

His Office character is to play the Oxford New Theatre and the Hammersmith Apollo in May with his band Foregone Conclusion.

Fans are promised songs from Brent’s back catalogue including Free Love Freeway, Spaceman Came Down, Slough, Lady Gypsy, plus new, unheard material.

Tickets will go on sale at 9am on Friday, but fans may need to be quick. Tickets for work in progress shows at the Bloomsbury Theatre in London last year, sold out in seconds.

He’ll be in Oxford on May 14 and Hammersmith on May 16. Here is a review of the Bloomsbury gig.
