World's End trailer released

New Simon Pegg/Edgar Wright film

The first trailer has been released for Simon Pegg’s new film The World’s End.

The movie reunites him and Nick Frost with director Edgar Wright for the third part in their so-called Three Flavours Cornetto Trilogy, which started with Shaun Of The Dead and Hot Fuzz.

It follows a group of childhood friends who reunite after 20 years to repeat an ‘epic pub crawl’ from the First Drop to the World’s End. However, once they embark on the challenge they discover that their home town has been overrun by aliens.

The cast also includes Martin Freeman, Reece Shearsmith, Rosamund Pike, Rafe Spall and Paddy Considine.

The World's End will open in the UK on July 19 before hitting the States on August 23
