Vic Reeves in new sitcom

...alongside Rhys Darby

Vic Reeves and Rhys Darby are joining forces for a new Channel 4 sitcom.

Both are starring in a pilot episode of The Fun Police, a comedy about a health and safety team in a small town.

Written by Russell Brand’s former collaborator Matt Morgan, the show will be recorded in front of a live studio audience later this month and air as part of the Comedy Showcase season this autumn.

The comedy also stars Jack Doolan, Kerry Howard, Katy Wix and Clive Rowe and is being made by Roughcut TV – the company behind the IT Crowd.
