Jupp to host topical radio comedy

Newsjack showcases new writers

Miles Jupp is to host a radio sketch show showcasing the work of up-and-coming comedy writers.

The pilot episode of Radio 7’s Newsjack, which promises to ‘satirise all the important events of our age’ will be recorded in London later this month, with six further instalments taped in June and July.

Producers had invited up-and-coming writers to contribute to the show – which had the working title 7 On 7 – via the BBC’s Writers Room website.

The programme is also set to star impressionists Jess Robinson and Lewis Macleod.
