Lily Allen, comedy writer?

Singer 'working on Horne & Corden show'

Lily Allen has turned her hand to writing comedy, according to newspaper reports today.

The singer-turned-chat host is said to be contributing ideas to James Corden and Mathew Horne’s new BBC Three project.

The Gavin & Stacey stars have been road-testing new material for their show, provisionally titled Horne and Corden Have Come, in universities around the UK.

Now Allen, who has been romantically linked to Corden, is said to be helping the duo out with suggestions.

An unnamed source told The Sun: ‘James loves her ideas and shares her sense of humour. He reckons the humour from Lily's first album Alright, Still will come across on the small screen.

‘If they can recreate the hilarity they have together at the pub it should be interesting to hear how their stuff turns out.’
