Band's farewell gig is a comedy cameo
Rock band Towers of London are set to make their farewell appearance – on The Mighty Boosh’s TV show.The group have already split up, following tensions caused by lead singer Donny Tourette’s appearance on Celebrity Big Brother.
But they will play on the next series of the BBC comedy, thanks to their friend Noel Fielding, in a cameo appearance recorded before their break-up.
An unnamed source told The Sun: ‘The Towers have a cameo in the Mighty Boosh and it's hilarious.
‘It's probably one of their best performances ever. It was set to send them into the stratosphere so the break up is a bit of a bummer.’
