Dom Joly ringtones 'stolen'

A website claims to have stolen foul-mouthed ringtones Dom Joly made for his friends and posted them on the internet.

Youth website Caught In The Crossfire says it has a tape smuggled out of the editing suite of the comic’s new show, Happy Now?

The programme is a hidden-camera sketch show he's making exclusively for the mobile phone. In it, he has reprised his Big Mobile Phone Man from Trigger Happy TV – but this time he has a giant Bluetooth earpiece.

And apparently, while in the studio, Joly recorded some expletive-riddled ringtones for his friends, which the website has posted up for free download.

The site says: ‘A good friend of ours here at HQ was in the studio where Dom Joly recorded his new ringtones last week and sneaked out a disc of ones he only did for his mates, so we are going to allow you to sample them.

‘We may get in the shit for doing this, but, you know what, sometimes if you want the biscuit, you've got to risk it...

‘These ringtones were never supposed to be heard by the public and we encourage you to download them now before we get busted.’
