'I am not worthy'

Spain salutes modest Woody

Woody Allen has been awarded one of Spain's highest cultural honours - but said he wasn't worthy.

The comic was awarded the Prince of Asturias Prize for Art, but told Spanish TV: "I don't deserve it."

Playwright Arthur Miller won the literature prize, and the World Cup-winning Brazilian football team collected the sport title.

Allen, 66, also told Spanish reporters he led a dull life.

"If you spent the day with me, it would be very boring," he said. "It's not interesting, it's a typical middle class thing."
