Win top US stand-up CDs

Mirman, Jeselnik, Hardwick and Kinane

Comedy Central is releasing another batch of stand-up CDs from top American comics this month – and we have five prize packages to give away.

The set comprises the latest releases from Eugene Mirman,  Chris Hardwick, Anthony Jeselnik and Kyle Kinane.

An Evening of Comedy In a Fake Underground Laboratory is Mirman’s first CD since 2009. Known for his regular role on the Flight Of The Conchords TV series and for voicing Gene on the animated series Bob’s Burgers, Mirman has been hailed as one of the 10 best comedians of the last decade by Paste Magazine. This absurd album mixes his personal anecdotes with such set pieces answering audience questions, sharing slogans he made for the Tea Party and reading from his childhood notebook.

Internet phenomenon Hardwick, known for his hit Nerdist podcast, continues his celebration of the geeky with his first album, Mandroid, which is out tomorrow. Publicity blurb for the CD warns: ‘Hipster nerds beware: there is no irony in Chris’s affinity for juggling, The Twilight Zone and Atari.’

Jeselnik is famed for his biting quips on Comedy Central roasts of such stars as Charlie Sheen and Donald Trump, and now stars in his own show on the channel. Caligula is his first stand-up special, and revolves around his ‘dark and twisted point of view.... saying things most wouldn't even dare,’ according to the publishers.

Finally, Whiskey Icarus is the second album from Kinane, one of Variety's Ten Comics To Watch in 2010, and his first on the Comedy Central label. His persona is of the genial outsider who finds humour in the tragic. To win one of five sets of all four albums, just answer the following question by the end of March 18, when we will randomly select the winners from all correct answers received. Usual terms and conditions apply.

Good luck!
