Pete Firman entertained the audience at Eden Court Theatre Inverness - 7th February. Like a Tommy Cooper for the 21st Century, crossed with a member of The Cure. Displaying his own slant on delivering his magic tricks and comic one-liners in a kind of puerile fashion. That's part of the appeal, corny but professional in their execution. In the right enviroment would have enjoyed sleight of hand card tricks, as performed on STV's The Hour. Pete was a winner on the night, Inverness audience laughed from start to finish and his set passed by far too swiftly. A sign of a good evening out, to make complete stranger's laugh.What any adept comedian hopes to achieve on the night.
