I was at Kevin's first ever gig at The Stand back in 2004. He was a nice lad, quite quiet, and seemed more like one of my younger brother's pals than a comedian. I was on immediately after him, and thought to myself "I hope the new kid does ok and doesn't get nervous". As soon as he was off stage I thought to myself "Bastard! How am I going to match that?". This quiet 17-year old kid had taken the roof off the place, putting more experienced acts to shame with confidence and talent beyond his years. Kevin is a class act and ridiculously level headed off the stage as well (ost people his age haven't the composure to work at Asda let alone pursue a comedy career).
