Saw an extended set at The Comedy Cellar in Bracknell last night - the first half was fantastic but then it lost momentum with the identity fraud bit. Still some great lines though, a very funny man

The audience had previously been pretty quiet, but they warmed to this guy immediately. His Tainted Love dance (very David Armand) was a slightly surprising but nontheless hilarious interlude in a very solid set. Great fun to watch.

Fantastic act, seen him a few times and seems to be still improving every time he comes to the well-known comedy chain I work for. Can't say which one, but it's the one that needs to pull its finger out and go find some good talent,

Absolutely fantastic, has charisma and charm and a way with the audience I haven't seen in a long time. And some excellent material Should be a huge star.
Toni Phillips, October 2006
He was the best comedian in Oxford last night. Everything he said had the whole audience in hysterics. Absolute quality.

Saw him at The Hob, East Dulwich, last night and he was absolutely fantastic. I think the description of him on here is either out-of-date or damning him with faint praise because there were no clunkers to be found at all. Great line about 'lovely blonde shoulder-length arms' too.

I like Bennett alot and watched the BBC awards 1997 where he first came onto the scene. His material was the best of all the finalists, but his nervous stage persona left the judges wary that it might just be nerves. Basically he was robbed and having seen him handle the roudiest of Christmas party crowds at Jonleurs with aplomb without once diverting from his character, I am now in no doubt he is a master of his craft

Bennett had me in tears laughing at his show at Rawhide in Liverpool last night. Absolutely fabulous stuff. Can't wait to see him live again soon.
