Addy Van Der Borgh
An Audience With Peter
Angie Le Mar
Anthony J Brown
Solid but unspectacular. While amusing i did think she relied rather heavily on the idea that because she was older than some of the crowd, and a mother, that somehow made her an authority on the world. It doesn't. Could have done with having some more actual material to hand rather than relying on taking the piss out of people in the front seats, which is an easy way out, but not actually that funny.
Told one 'joke' and spend the rest of the time making fun of one drunken idiot in the audience. Shame she isn't as funny as she thinks she is. Cruise ships beckon - anything but the comedy circuit
I saw her at Covent Garden Comedy Club and she was a class act, she dealt with a loudmouth in front seats brilliantly and won the audience over from the start. You're sure of a laugh with her.
Very funny, hilarious really. Gives a performance everyone must see at least once.
Angie is wonderful - clever, brilliant delivery, sharp, unafraid, professional.
Fantastic stuff. I can see how, with the wrong crowd it might not work but with an appreciative crowd I thought she was brilliant.
