David Trent: Spontaneous Comedian
Show type: Edinburgh Fringe 2012
David Trent is a phenomenon. Making his debut at this year’s Edinburgh Festival, he uses both computer and a projector to make phenomenal comedy. Wielding a unique mix of music, video, animation & comedy, he is unlike anything you’ve ever seen at the Fringe or indeed anywhere else. His unique show defies categorisation – it simply demands that you see it to understand what everyone else is raving about.

Best comedian that I have seen in years. Excellent. Original, brilliant, powerful.

The worst show I've seen this year. I was at this gig, and there was collectively about three laughs. The serving suggestions gags were really lame and badly thought out. the funniest moments of the show were clips of OTHER COMEDIANS and he's about as spontaneous as a game of chess against a computer. When leaving, after making the steward open the door so we could get out, I heard another group mutter in a disappointed tone "I'm not getting that hour back." I laughed more when I saw the inside of my brother's ballsack. I urge you, DO NOT SEE THIS MAN, HE IS ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE.
