Jeff Mirza's Jihad; Heresy Or Hearsay
Show type: Edinburgh Fringe 2011
See Muslim comedian Jeff Mirza’s hilarious jihadi ‘faith off’ about the world’s beliefs. He has just come back from a tour of Saudi Arabia. Prophets or losses? Blasphemy or Blast-for-me? Allah, Buddha,Christ or dawkins; none are spared.
Do beards really matter? Why was JK Rowling being discussed at the local mosque? Can cousin marriages, burqas, inquisitions and Crusades really get us to heaven? Just don’t shoot the messenger.
Jews and Hindus welcome. Ramadan Mubarak.

Group of us went, diffent ethnicities,we all learned something new, the "storytelling" and acting was excellent, (didnt know Moses was from northern ireland!) and the irony - very funny. Jeeeehad!

the most daring religious satire i've seen, funny and clever, not for the dumbasses who just want "dick" jokes.

Saw this comic. Yesterday. He's the only comedian I know there doing stuff about Muhamed. Only knob gags were about foreskins. I don't really like religios humour. He was good if you like that kind of thing. Was a bit like early Izzard if that helps.

Saw him at the fringe .. He made one hour seem like three .. The most unfunny and boring show I have seen

I saw Jeff Mirza's show tonight. After spending a couple of nights seeing all the vanilla '5 Star' comics talking about their bits it was refreshing to see a comic tackling topics such as religion- specifically Muhammed, Jesus and Moses. Mirza was funny, engaging, informative and original.
