According to his girlfriend, Chris is an emotional retard – and she’s a psychologist so it looks like that’s official! Award-winning Scouse comedian, Chris McCausland returns to the Edinburgh Comedy Festival for a whole month and takes a hilarious journey to discover if he is, in fact, really an emotional retard or not. Is he really that bad at expressing his emotions or is he just a normal bloke from Liverpool? What are the events that have conspired against him to turn him in to the man that he is today?

Did you really need to use the word retard? What does retard have to do with anything here. All you're accomplished is marginalising people with special needs and that's just wrong.

I agree with Linda. Chris is a brilliant writer and this show is worthy of at least 4 stars. I would thoroughly recommend seeing this show as chris is destined for much bigger things! This is a very lazy review and does not do the show any justice.

I saw this show and it blew the roof off! It is the best show I have seen this festival so far! I thought it was refreshing, intelligent, well written, interesting and hysterical! It was a real show! I think this review has nothing to do with the show I saw! It doesnt reflect it or give it any justice. Boo to the review and five stars from me!
