Plague! The Musical
From the twisted minds of a city banker and a penniless teacher comes the World Premiere of Plague! The Musical.
Six-years in the making, Plague! The Musical is an off-beat comedy with colourful characters, a strong storyline and is reminiscent of childhood fairy-tale Dick Whittington, hit comedy sitcoms Blackadder and Monty Python, mixed with a small spoonful of some of the leading West-End musicals.
Once upon a time, long before MRSA, SARS and Boris Johnson, Clive Hucklefish came to London to seek his fame and fortune. After landing a job with a destitute undertaker, he falls in love with an evil Alchemist’s daughter and unwittingly starts the Great Plague! Business booms but when disease strikes too close to home, Clive realises he must take action before it’s too late.
Featuring songs such as It’s Bubonic and Pay The Piper, Plague! The Musical is Bubonic Productions debut show and is led by a dynamic crew, featuring an 11-strong cast of talented performers.
