Laughing Horse comedy and Marc Blake (stand­up, TV writer &and comedy tutor) offer six intensive courses on the craft of stand-up.  What makes a successful comedian? Generating great material,   stagecraft, confidence and insider industry knowledge are all included in this popular course. No experience required, only passion. With access to 20+ Fringe shows for free to watch other comedians, and at the end of the course - a guaranteed spot in at least two Edinburgh Fringe shows.

I didn't know what to expect when I signed up for this. Comedians are not always the most forgiving people. I needn't have worried. Teaching is definitely one of Marc's gifts. 'No experience needed', said the ad. He got a lot out of some very nervous people. 10 thoroughly enjoyable hours, well spent.

Anyone who has seen his alter ego, Helmut, the cheap lazy German stereotype, would be astonished that Blake teaches comedy
