About Comedy: Stand-Up Course
Laughing Horse comedy and Marc Blake (standup, TV writer &and comedy tutor) offer six intensive courses on the craft of stand-up. What makes a successful comedian? Generating great material, stagecraft, confidence and insider industry knowledge are all included in this popular course. No experience required, only passion. With access to 20+ Fringe shows for free to watch other comedians, and at the end of the course - a guaranteed spot in at least two Edinburgh Fringe shows.

I didn't know what to expect when I signed up for this. Comedians are not always the most forgiving people. I needn't have worried. Teaching is definitely one of Marc's gifts. 'No experience needed', said the ad. He got a lot out of some very nervous people. 10 thoroughly enjoyable hours, well spent. Paul, September 2005 |

Anyone who has seen his alter ego, Helmut, the cheap lazy German stereotype, would be astonished that Blake teaches comedy Wayne D, August 2005 |
