Helen Lederer: Finger Food
One of the UK's most successful and instantly recognisable comic actresses Helen Lederer returns to the Assembly Rooms at the Edinburgh Festival, after an absence of eight years, with a brand new show, described as as "three women in search of a nervous breakdown meets Noises Off!"

Original Review:
The spoof cookery show with which Helen Lederer makes her Lederer's unattractive and one-dimensional character is an As she cooks, she witters meaninglessly about soft furnishings, In a vain attempt to shore up the painfully weak premise, It's typical of a script with no comedy compass, an untidy Miranda Hart, who plays the beleaguered, hopeless floor manager, |

It wasn't that bad at all. It had some very funny ideas which could have been better timed and presented. It needs re-wrting and is potentially very funny indeed. Lorna, August 2004 |

This should come as no suprise. A talentless fuckwit who was lucky enough to cling onto the bandwagon of Eghties smug ex uni luvvies and has earned money of the back of it ever since. Hopefully she will now lose enough money to remove any delusions that she is funny or has anything to offer. Martin Wright, August 2004 |

I was so disappointed. It was as if they'd had the idea in January and forgotten all about it till the end of July then cobbled together something like a school leavers' review. Pathetic. Trading on her name. Alison, August 2004 |
