This is a lazy, complacent and incompetent show which demonstrated nothing but contempt for its audience.

It started late, finished early and included a five-minute interval for no practical reason, the two participants simply left the room.

For the rest of the time, following a long waffle of introduction, they stood by an easel, turning large white paper sheets on which were drawings, photos and scrawled words and they spouted a superficial history of British television which could only have been based on some book they had read. A few jokes were added in.

Then, for no reason, there was suddenly an entire routine about Bruce Lee,s films and a routine about what Scottish people are like. Am I being cynical in thinking this was simply rehashed old material dumped in to fill time?

And, oh yes, the easel was accidentally knocked over at one point. Not intentionally. The performance was as clumsy as the writing.

At another point, even at this late point in the Fringe, both comics totally forgot their words, and had to be reminded by the technical operator who had the script in a ring binder. He had to physically show it to them before they could continue.

If this had been an intentional part of the act, it would not have been funny, even less so when it was a real 'drying up' by both performers simultaneously. Unpardonable.

This shambles of a show was a disgrace.
