Caught In The Act Of Being Myself Show type: Edinburgh Fringe 2003
Caught In The Act Of Being Myself

Wonderfully funny and always a treat to watch. Her story about the alsatian dog with a light bulb in its mouth will make me smile forever. She rocks!

George Stevens, September 2003

Loved the show. The most original comic to come to Edinburgh in years..no gimmicks. Not a geek, not cutesy, not playing the fat hag card, not bitter woman with period jokes! She even made a death funny last night! just one very funny woman! This review is well deserved.

Justin Peacock, August 2003

When can we see this woman in London? My friends and I go to comedy all the time and I have only managed to catch Janey Godley twice, and I agree that she is bloody fantastic. I am not normally a fan of female comics with thier simpering boyfriend complaints and period problems, it's not myidea of fun. But we are all big fans of Godley. Get this woman to London soon so we can get our fix!.

Salvatore Broccu, August 2003

I thoroughly enjoyed Janey's show. her chatty style, fearlessness of talking about issues (ranging from child abuse and heroin to her rants on american self help shows), along with her capability to completely engage an audience, no matter what the size, made it one of the most enjoyable hours I spent in my relatively short time up in Edinburgh. Everyone there to see her show was treated like an old friend. You went away feeling like you'd acquired another mum- possibly the coolest mum on the planet. janey rocks. simple as that.

Frankie, August 2003

Very very funny/ Janey doesnt have to try to be funny, she is naturally.
