Lesbian Launderette: St Kylie's Love Hospital
Show type: Edinburgh Fringe 2002
Macbeth meets Monroe in the field of queer sartorial cleansing involving drag, dykes and dryers. Dark, hilarious, camp melodrama featuring the music Shakespeare would have used if he'd had the right musical director.

Extremely funny, great entertainment. The songs are superb - I particularly liked 'Lathering Tights', a Kate Bush parody of what's really going on at your local coin-operated cleanery. If Shakespeare was writing in the 21st century he may have come up with something like this.

I still can't stop laughing! Absolutely wonderful. I simply had to see this after I saw the name mentioned in one of the broadsheets and I'm very glad that I did. These kids ought to be famous.
