Chortle contacts service

Over the past six years Chortle has built itself up to be THE source of information for the comedy industry. Google a comic’s name, and chances are their Chortle page will be at, or near, the top of the pile.

It’s a resource increasingly used by casting agents, corporate bookers and gig promoters, too, to browse for the best comic for the jobs they have.

Barely a day goes by when we don’t receive a speculative call or e-mails about how to get in touch with the acts on the site.

That’s why we’ve decided to add a contact panel onto the profile pages of the comedians featured on the site, to allow those offering work tp get in contact with those wanting it.

We will be levelling a small charge to the acts who want to take advantage of this service – less than £1 a week each– a minimal cost that will be repaid many times over if this lands even the most modest of jobs.

If you are a comic who wishes to have your details listed, please complete the forms on the following two pages. We'll then make the amendments to your page within the week, probably much quicker.

There are two options for payment:

• £12 every quarter through PayPal, the internet's leading payment system. Accounts are free and easy to set up, if you don't already have one.
• £48 for a year, by cheque

Of course, comics taking part in this will not be able to alter the other editorial content of the page, such as the review. And this service is not yet available to comics not already listed in our A-Z index, though we hope to extend the scheme at a later date.
