Comedian pranks No 10

Heydon Prowse in Valentine's Day stunt

Comedian Heydon Prowse has pranked Downing Street staff – convincing them that Donald Trump wanted to send Theresa May some Valentine's Day flowers.

The comic, from BBC Two series Revolting, rang No 10 claimed to be from the Oval Office, to asking what the Prime Minister's favourite blooms were.

He even told one one aide that the gift would be accompanied by a photo of the US President grabbing Mrs May's 'pussy' – before 'correcting' himself and saying 'hand'.

Posing as 'Jeff', Prowse said the flowers were 'essentially from Mr Trump but Sean Spicer [the White House press spokesman] is organising it.'

The aide responds: 'Ah yes, I see, excellent, fantastic. Ok, my hunch is hydrangeas' and explains that Mrs May is a 'keen gardener'.

Jeff adds: 'OK what we'll also do is we'll send over a lovely card with a picture of Mr Trump grabbing Theresa May's pussy I mean hand, sorry… I meant hand obviously, sorry that was a slip of the tongue' – causing the No 10 staffer to laugh and say: 'Oh God.'

The stunt was set up by the Don't Panic advertising agency, which has previously made other online videos with Prowse and his Revolting co-star Jolyon Rubinstein.
