Keith Lemon goes Through The Keyhole

ITV orders series

Keith Lemon is to snoop around celebrity houses in a revival of Through The Keyhole.

ITV has ordered a full series of the show, fronted by Leigh Francis’ alter ego, following a successful, never-broadcast, pilot earlier this year.

‘This is a much loved and highly popular format, but given a fresh squeeze of lemon,’ said Dan Baldwin, managing director of producers Talkback.

The original ran for 20 series, starting in 1987 following a segment on TV-am. The last new episodes were made in 2008, hosted by David Frost and airing on the BBC during daytime.

Meanwhile, Lemon’s fake reality show, Lemon La Vida Loca, is to return to ITV. Four, 45-minute episodes have been ordered.
