Eddie leads festival's new names

Eddie Izzard is to play this year’s Latitude festival.

Organisers have just announced that the acclaimed stand-up is to make a rare outdoor festival appearance at the Suffolk site in July, where he is expected to perform material from his ongoing Force Majeure tour.

Also added to the comedy arena line-up today were Nina Conti, Richard Herring, Rubberbandits, Birthday Girls and So On And So Forth.

The festival takes place in Southwold. Suffolk, on July 18 to 21 and previously announced comedy names include Sean Lock, Dylan Moran and Daniel Kitson.
