Frank Skinner has renewed his Absolute Radio contract for another year – with the station giving him an extra hour a week.

From June 2, his Saturday morning show will be on air from 8am to 11am.

He said: ‘I’m really excited to be doing a longer show for Absolute. My radio sandwich suddenly became a club.’

Skinner joined Absolute in March 2009 and won the Gold Sony award for best entertainment programme last year. He and is nominated again in this years’ awards, which take place today.
