The World's End, coming in 2013

Completing Pegg/Frost/Wright trilogy

Simon Pegg and Nick Frost are to start work on their new comedy movie in September.

The World’s End will again unite the pair with director Edgar Wright for the third part of the loose trilogy that started with Shaun Of The Dead and Hot Fuzz.

The script – which Wright wrote with Pegg – has five middle-aged men trying to recreate an epic pub crawl 20 years after they first attempted it, with The World’s End the legendary final bar in the challenge.

Hollywood website Deadline reports that producers Working Title are planning to shoot in September with a release in spring next year.

It will complete what is jokingly called The Three Flavours Cornetto Trilogy, since they each feature a main character buying such an ice cream.

Last week it was announced that Frost is also about to star in a salsa-dancing comedy Cuban Fury, based on his own idea.
