US panel show for Graham Norton

Would You Rather..?

Graham Norton is to host his own panel show in the States.

BBC America has given the green light to a show called Would You Rather, which will air later this year during the cable channel’s Ministry Of Laughs comedy block.

The show will feature American comics, and be made by Norton’s own production company So Television.

The commission follows a successful pilot shot in London last month, despite the fact panel shows have not proved such a staple of American TV as they have in the UK.

BBC America has also given the go ahead for a motoring show called Hard Drive with Richard Hammond, industry website Deadline reports.

The channel already shows The Graham Norton Show, while Norton also fronts the show Most Popular on US cable channel WE. He presented a short-lived chat show in New York in 2004.
