New CBBC show for Vic Reeves

Answering kids' questions

Vic Reeves is to front a new TV series – for children.

The comic will start in a 13-part series for CBBC called Vic Reeves Project, in which he will try to answer ridiculous questions set by the audience.

The programme, to be produced in-house at the BBC, will be set in the Think Pit, ‘secret location set deep underground’.

It is one of several new children’s programmes unveiled today, although a broadcast date was not announced.

CBBC Controller, Damian Kavanagh said: ‘These recent commissions are all very different. They all encourage CBBC viewers to look at the world around them and think about it in a new and interesting way – and that's extremely important to us.’
