Sharon Horgan, chat-show host?

Comedian pilots new show

Pulling creator Sharon Horgan could be set to turn chat-show host.

Though best known as an actor and writer, she is recording a pilot of a new comedy show from have I Got News For You producers Hat Trick later this month.

Guilty Party is about awkward social situations, ‘from the unwritten rules of Pub Etiquette to the nightmare that is having to introduce someone whose name you've forgotten,’ according to producers.

Guests will have to own up to their faux pas and come up with some tips for dealing with them.

Horgan is also due to star in a new prison-based BBC Three sitcom, Life Stories, which she co-wrote with stand-up Holly Walsh. Her other credits include Free Agents, Angelo's and The Increasingly Poor Decisions Of Todd Margaret.
