Sick Rowan delays filming
Filming on Rowan Atkinson’s new movie, Johnny English Reborn, has reportedly halted after the star took ill.
The follow-up to his 2003 spoof spy caper had only just gone into production when Atkinson was struck down with an unknown illness.
The film – which co-stars Gillian Anderson, Rosamund Pike and Dominic West – is being made at Pinewood Studios and on location in London. The shoot, in which Atkinson revives his gaffe-prone secret agent, is scheduled to take 13 weeks.
Last year, Atkinson had to pull out of the West End version of Oliver! for three weeks while he recovered from a hernia operation.
