The director of Borat is working on a new sitcom satirising Apple’s boss Steve Jobs.

Larry Charles is developing iCon with Dan Lyons, who has long published a successful spoof blog The Secret Diary of Steve Jobs

Now it is being adapted for American cable channel Epix, with Charles – who previously worked on Seinfeld – writing the script.

He said: ‘We are attempting to do nothing less than a modern Citizen Kane,. A scabrous satire of Silicon Valley and its most famous citizen.’
