This is Peter Kay as he appears in his new Channel 4 show – his first new work for four years.

Britain’s Got The Pop Factor And Possibly A New Celebrity Jesus Christ Soapstar Superstar Strictly On Ice will air in October.

The spoof reality show, shot both on location and in the studio, features more than 100 hours of music.

It will air as part of a Peter Kay night on the channel, which also includes Raider Of The Pop Charts, a documentary about his pop videos.

Channel 4’s autumn line-up also includes the return of Star Stories, Russell Brand’s Ponderland and The IT Crowd.
