Victoria Piles into the US

American pilot for Brit's police comedy

Green Wing creator Victoria Pile is to make her first American TV show.

The ABC network has picked up a pilot episode of her new comedy, set in a police precinct, to see how it turns out.

Little is known about the show – not even its title – but it will be made by CBS Paramount Network Television.

Pile, who also created Smack The Pony, wrote the pilot and will be executive producer on it.
