Chortle to sell more comedy seats

More comedy shows can now be booked online through Chortle.

We’ve joined forces with a new agency called Comedy Bookings to be able to offer tickets to the Glee Clubs in Birmingham and Cardiff, and Jesters in Bristol.

The programme, which went live today, will be rolled out to other clubs who choose to adopt the booking system over the coming weeks.

It also ensures Chortle’s listings are bang up-to-date, as the information is taken directly from the clubs themselves.

Booking involves just three simple steps, and there is no hidden booking or processing fees. In fact, Glee Club tickets are £1.50 cheaper on line than over the phone.

Clubs wanting to take advantage of the Comedy Bookings low-cost system, which includes credit card handling, optional seat allocations and an impressive marketing package as well as the 24-hour booking facility, should contact mark@comedybooking.co.uk

Chortle will continue to offer tickets to Comedy Store shows and many touring shows through Ticketmaster.
