Previously unheard Little Britain sketches are to be released on two new audiobooks.

The BBC is issuing Matt Lucas and David Walliams’s complete Radio 4 series from 2001 and 2002 on two triple-CD sets this autumn.

The discs also promise outtakes that have never been aired before.

As well as familiar characters from the TV series, the radio version also includes the likes of Peter Andre, the former Royal correspondent, Alan the amnesiac and the Britannia Cat Club.

Series one will be released on September 6; series two on October 4, priced £14.99.
