Vote for your favourite acts and venues

It's Chortle's fourth birthday on Sunday - which means it's again time to vote for your favourite acts and live comedy venues for our annual awards.

These are the only accolades to reward the best of live comedy taking place across Britain every night of the week - and this they will be handed out at the famous Ealing Studios on February 23. Click here for a list of previous winners.

Many of the winners are chosen by a panel of judges, including national newspaper comedy critics and promoters.

But others are chosen by the 18,000 people who visit Chortle every week, so your vote really counts.

The polls are open from now until February 6, and, as an extra incentive, one person chosen from all those who reply will get two tickets to the exclusive Chortle awards party, which is not open to the public.
