Baddiel open to debate

David devises Radio 4 panel game

David Baddiel has devised a new Radio 4 panel game, to be recorded next month.

The comic will also present the series Heresy, which sets out to challenge received wisdom.

Armando Iannucci, David Walliams and journalists Vicky Coren and Peter Bradshaw, (who starred in Baddiel's ill-fated Sky sitcom Baddiel's Syndrome) will be the panellists.

A spokesman for producers Avalon said: " Certain things are instinctively held to be true in modern society, irrespective of whether there is evidence to support them. These opinions are universal - but are they accurate?"

Topics questioned include: the Atkins diet is dangerou, celebrities like Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta Jones have no right to privacy, and all policeman are racist.

The first show will be recorded in central London on Friday December 12.

Free tickets to the taping are available by emailing leet@avalonuk.com.
