It's All Over for Seaman

Ex-goalie joins quiz line-up

David Seaman is to be a team captain on They Think It's All Over when it returns next month.

The former England goalkeeper will appear opposite cricketer Phil Tufnell, who had already been named as a new regular following the departure of David Gower and Gary Lineker.

Seaman said: "I'm really looking forward to it.

"All my mates watch They Think It's All over just to see who is getting the stick that week. I've got a feeling I'm going to be in for some but now at least I'll be able to deal some out as well.

"And, no, I'm not cutting my hair. Someone's got to keep Jonathan Ross company."

Tufnell said says: "I'm chuffed to bits that David has been confirmed as the other team skipper, he's always been a hero of mine."

The show also promises some new rounds when it returns for its 16th series.

Producer Jim Pullin said: "We thought we should give the new boys a warm welcome so we've devised some fiendish new games for them to play.
