Perry to make stage debut in London

Friends star Matthew Perry and Simpsons actor Hank Azaria are to perform together on the London stage.

The pair will team up for a new production of David Mamet's Sexual Perversity In Chicago, also starring Minnie Driver.

Perry, known to millions as Chandler, will be making his professional stage debut in the show. He will be hoping his London appearance provides a springboard for other projects once Friends comes to an end next year.

Azaria provides a raft of voices for the Simpsons, including Chief Wiggum, Professor Frink and Dr Nick Riviera.

The revival of Mamet's 1974 hit - adapted for the movies as About Last Night - opens at the Comedy Theatre on May 14. Click here for tickets.

  • Eric Sykes is to appear in a new production of Chekov's Three Sisters in the West End. He will appear opposite Kristin Scott Thomas at the Playhouse from March 20. Click for tickets.
